"Try It On for the Cure®"

Charleston Coldwater Creek Stores host "Try It On for the Cure®" to benefit the Lowcountry Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®

On Sunday, April 20th, Coldwater Creek at the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre will donate $1 to the Lowcountry Affiliate of Komen for the Cure for every shopper who tries on their clothes in the dressing room. And no purchase is necessary! However, for those who do purchase, the company will also donate 10 percent of the entire day’s sales to Komen.
“It’s such a simple way to involve our customers up-close with a cause we are all passionate about! And it’s so easy, we do the giving – shoppers just have to try something on,” said Ann Johnson, Coldwater Creek.“Try it On for the Cure is a terrific example of how people can get involved in the breast cancer movement in a fun and meaningful way,” said Hala Moddelmog, CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. “We are thrilled to have Coldwater Creek as a partner in our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.”
Backing the Lowcountry Affiliate is nothing new for Coldwater Creek. Their programs focus on raising funds that stay right here in the community. In 2007 Coldwater Creek donated over $316,000 to local affiliates. Whether it is participating in the local Race for the Cure or hosting benefit fashion events in their stores, like Try It On for the Cure on April 20th, the purpose is always to give back to the community.
