Grant Writer Ethics

Yesterday at the workshop I had someone ask me how you choose an honest grant consultant? What about if you have already paid a grant consultant that is not delivering on their promise? I did some researching and came up with some resources. However, I would love to hear from you all on this subject. Are you having a hard time finding a grant consultant? What do you look for in a grant writer? Have any of you encountered a grant consultant that is not on the up and up? Please post a reply and share your thoughts and experiences.
