Exciting Change to Foundation Center Interface

These are indeed exciting times to be working with Foundation Center Resources!! In early September, The Foundation Center totally changed the way you use their database. Now, the Foundation Center uses a natural language interface. You tell the database what you type of project you are hoping to fund. Then, The Foundation Center uses the information to search the vast array of resources in the database. In the past, the user had options such as Powersearch, Grantmaker Search and others. However, the interface was not particularly user friendly. To access the Foundation Center Resources here at the Main Library at 68 Calhoun St, go to the top floor and tell one of our staff members at the Reference Desk "I would like to use the Foundation Center please...". Then, that staff member will take you to one of our dedicated computers and enter a password to unlock the Foundation Center resources.
