CAGP Meeting Tuesday October 20

The Charleston Association of Grant Professionals (CAGP) will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 20th, at 5:45 p.m. in the auditorium of the Charleston County Public Library

SPEAKER: Pat Buckley, Trainer, Sisters of Charity Learning Academy

TOPIC: “Collaborate: How, When and Who?”

Nonprofit leaders hear, “Collaboration will cut costs”. Donors tell organizations to partner. But, we ask how? Find out more in the discussion on Tuesday night, October 20th.

Pat Buckley, currently training in the Sisters of Charity Learning Academy, has 26 years creating, coordinating and leading community based programs in South Carolina and internationally. A firm believer that collaborations keep organizations viable, she’s built grassroots partnerships from the ground up and successfully guided organizations joining established collaborations. These collaborations range from a neighborhood working together on one issue to 5 nonprofit organizations’ partnering with the government and donor. Her experiences include all stages of collaborating from getting to know you, getting along, building a permanent relationship, and deciding when and how to exit professionally.
