Charleston Association of Grant Professionals (CAGP) to meet Tues., March 19
The Charleston Association of Grant Professionals (CAGP) will meet Tuesday, March 19 from 5:45 - 7:30 pm in the auditorium of the Charleston County Public Library, 68 Calhoun St. in Charleston.
The topic will be: “Demystifying Logic Models.”
Logic models are a fairly common requirement in requests for proposals, especially those involving federal funds. While the term logic model sends many grant writers running, these models are nothing more than specialized flowcharts depicting the benefits that you believe your project will produce.
The evening's speaker will be Zac Hart, an environmental professional who works at a local office of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). At NOAA, Zac is a writer, outreach specialist, and regularly delivers training on project design and evaluation. He has worked as a freelance science writer and spent two years as a grant writer and project manager for a non-profit organization.
Come hear a few simple tips that will impress funders and help to make your next logic model something that you or your grant team can actually use!
