Event Reminder- Run (or walk) for the ARK
I love to run, especially for a good cause. Sadly I have to work so I can't make it to this one but I hope all of you will participate and show your support for the ARK.
The 10th Annual Race for The ARK 5K Run/Walk and 1 miler will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Proceeds benefit The ARK's programs serving individuals with Alzheimer's and other dementia. The 5K starts at 7:45 a.m.and the 1 mile walk at 8:45. The starting point is St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 206 Central Avenue in Summerville.
The ARK is also sponsoring a "TIN FOR TEN". Bring a canned good on race day or to packet pick-up to support Tricounty Family Ministries food pantry.
