Available both in print (at the Main Library) and online, the CFDA provides information on all Federal programs available to State and local governments ;federally-recognized Indian tribal governments; Territories (and possessions) of the United States; domestic public, quasi-public, and private profit and nonprofit organizations and institutions; specialized groups; and individuals. The catalog cover more than just available grants. In fact, there are 15 different types of assistance available including loans, training, advisory services and much more. Once you have identified the program that fits your needs, you can contact the office that administers the program to find out how to apply. The site also has a very helpful section on how to write a proposal.
