Topic: "Overcoming Fear of Logic Models"
The talk will provide an overview of Logic Models, how they work, and why they are important to use to design and evaluate a project. There will also be examples of the Logic Model and its use in funded projects.

Logic Models are very important to use to design and evaluate a project. They are also required in a lot of private and federal grants. Technology Help for Nonprofits

There is a free service in town called the Palmetto Technology Hub. Their mission is to help nonprofits by offering technical support and advice. Nonprofits can submit a request for tech support through their website. Volunteers offer their expertise for free and will respond. To learn more visit their website at http://scpath.org/.

13th Annual CreateAthon
Trio Solutions Inc. invites local nonprofit organizations to apply for the 13th annual CreateAthon®, scheduled for September 16, 2010.
CreateAthon® is a 24-hour, work-around the clock creative blitz during which Trio Solutions Inc. provides marketing and creative services to Lowcountry nonprofit organizations on a pro-bono basis. Trio Solutions is the official CreateAthon® agency for the Charleston-metro area. The selected nonprofits have little or no marketing budgets.
The deadline for CreateAthon® 2010 applications is Friday, July 30. Trio Solutions will select five organizations to receive CreateAthon® 2010 services and will announce the winners on August 31.
