Introduction to Finding Funders

A representative from the Foundation Center will teach a class on the Center's comprehensive database, The Foundation Directory Online Professional edition, on Tuesday, May 24 from 2:30-4 pm in the auditorium of the Charleston County Main Library.

Grants Writing Workshop

“Spring Into Grant Writing” with a .5 day session on May 26, 2011 at Charleston Southern University. Dr. Linda Karges-Bone will conduct the training and participants will receive her new book The Educator’s Guide to Grants for Schools and Non-Profits, with accompanying CD of hundreds of funding sources, as well as hand-outs and snacks. Topics include: trends in funding; avoiding mistakes in proposal design; evaluation extras; and hot topics in grant-writing.
There is a $50 registration fee.
